The International Association of Agricultural Economics (IAAE) program committee presents the first-ever triennial online conference, the International Conference of Agricultural Economists (ICAE 2021), now scheduled for August 17th to August 31st, 2021. 

Some of the highlights of the conference include a session on the lessons and implications of the COVID-19 pandemic, prospects for realizing Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, issues of trade, policy reforms, climate change, water ,and the rising importance of digital agriculture.

The opening remarks of the plenary panel titled, “Making Irrigation Sustainable” will be made by Claudia Sadoff, Managing Director, Research Delivery and Impact One CGIAR,  and the moderator will be Mark Smith, Director General of the International Water Management Institute (IWMI).

Registration will start as soon as a review of all the submitted papers is completed, approximately early to mid-June.
