A4NH researchers with Wageningen University & Research and Bioversity International conducted a literature review on diet quality indices in low- and middle-income countries to determine what is available and what gaps exist, using their finding to also provide insights into what might be next steps in providing standardized metrics and measurements to better understand diet quality in low- and middle-income countries and how it can be improved. Their research was published in Nutrition Reviews in 2019.
