IndiaSpend published an article the potential impacts of climate change on food security and farming productivity, in South Asia. In the article, the author refers to the 2018 Global Food Policy Report, which found that climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing South Asia, and could have potential impacts on already vulnerable populations. From the report, the article quotes, “increasing climatic variability, extreme weather events, and rising temperatures pose new challenges to ensuring food and nutrition security in the region.” This article was also published in the Business Standard.
