Public notice: prosecutor launching probe into fraudulent land activities at kapiti

THE INTERNATIONAL LIVESTOCK RESEARCH INSTITUTE (ILRI) urges the public to take note of a press statement issued on 22 October 2018 by Noordin Haji, OGW, the Director of Public Prosecutions. That statement announces that the Director is launching an investigation to ensure that persons fraudulently asserting ownership and/or attempting unlawfully to claim land from KAPITI PLAINS ESTATE LIMITED, a public limited company wholly owned by ILRI, will promptly be brought to justice. Members of the public who are approached by any of the persons or entities named by the Director or who have fallen victim to their alleged fraudulent behavior should contact the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
