Roots and tuber scientists meet to exchange in China

The Potato Young Scientists Forum, jointly organized by the Key Laboratory of Potato Biology of Yunnan Province and the Key Laboratory of Cassava Germplasm Resources Protection and Utilization of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and hosted by the Potato Professional Committee of the Chinese Tropical Crop Society, was successfully held in Mangshi, Yunnan from November 30th to December 4th.

The forum invited 17 experts, including Huang Sanwen, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, single satellite professor, winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Professor Song Botao, director of the Key Laboratory of Potato Biology and Biotechnology of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas; and Professor Dong Shameng, distinguished professor of Changjiang Scholars, to make a special report.
