What prevents landscapes in Indonesia from functioning well?
Part can be solved within a landscape approach, the rest requires change at national level, say researchers
13 February 2019, Bogor, Indonesia — Interventions in landscapes to achieve economic development and environmental integrity have become a major stream in reconciling the full set of Sustainable Development Goals in Indonesia.

However, the common use of a ‘landscape approach’ covers a substantial diversity of actions applied in a range of contexts, as became clear at a gathering of practitioners and researchers in Indonesia in September 2017 at a Learning Landscapes retreat in Setulang Village, Malinau District, North Kalimantan Province.
