A message from the Thalangama wetland in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on the work of IWMI and CGIAR to preserve and protect these vital ecosystems.
On World Wetlands Day, February 2, the Executive Managing Director of CGIAR Ismahane Elouafi was able to explore the Thalangama wetland in Colombo. She was in Sri Lanka visiting the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) and learning more about water systems. To mark the day, Elouafi explains the significance of wetlands and the collaborative efforts of IWMI and CGIAR in preserving and protecting these vital ecosystems.
