The Financial Times included research from IFPRI and the Food and Agriculture Organization in an op-edabout the greatest displacements of people coming from areas experiencing conflict and high levels of food insecurity. In places like Africa where two-thirds of the working population depends on agriculture, investments that create vibrant rural economies, improve access to supplies of farm inputs, and sustain employment offer continuity of income that curbs migration.
