Cost and safety of food are major factors influencing adolescents’ food choices in urban ethiopia

An innovative study by the universities of Addis Ababa and Wageningen and the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development invited adolescent students in urban Ethiopia to share their thoughts on challenges and opportunities for eating healthy diets. The study found that the cost of food and food safety are the key factors that influence the adolescents’ food choices.
